"EXCLUSIVE: The University of Florida College of Medicine incorporates aspects of critical race theory into its admissions and educational programs, according to a new report obtained exclusively by Fox News Digital.

The report from Do No Harm, a group of medical workers against divisive racial policies in medicine, explains that the college uses "equity" initiatives to train a new generation of "antiracists" in medical fields — two terms at the core of critical race theory. Those initiatives include active recruitment of "underrepresented groups," suggested readings on diversity and equity for aspiring student and a code of ethics that explains how to address implicit bias.

The College of Medicine is "indoctrinating its medical school graduates in divisive philosophies and other forms of social justice activism. The conditioning begins from the moment a prospective student begins exploring UFCOM, continues through the admissions process, and persists throughout the doctoral program.""

Is there anything the UF Board of Trustees can do these days, not just for the College of Medicine but for the entire UF system, or has that gone to trash also?

@gator1776 leading the charge? 😂

Most colleges are moving that way for admissions. My oldest is a senior and we have gone to 4 different colleges' open house, here in the Maryland/DC area and all of them take the "holistic" approach to admissions, placing more weight on various different "aspects" of the student and not relying on grades as much and not requiring test scores. The ABA just decided that the LSAT should not be required for entrance to law school.

Colleges were doing such things 25 years ago. Giving weight to to things such as community service were very common. I'm sure though admissions can be more arbitrary than I'd ever imagine

Yeah, they really don't get the 'right mix' of students with standards in place.

Community service has ZERO to do with being woke...it has EVERYTHING to do with being kind.
True enough. I could have listed more but everyone else can cover that Colleges are a representation of the most controversial parts of our society unfortunately.

FWIW, I don't want some woke dummy operating on my heart or spine. Would you want Joe Biden to be your airplane pilot? How about Festerman? :p

What a great idea. Let’s not admit the individual most likely to be the best MD. Let’s make sure they adhere to CRT. Prayers for future patients
Eventually it will lead to seriously deficient health care. Those who can afford good doctors will have to pay cash and fly somewhere for concierge care from the brightest and best. The middle class is screwed, but the globalists don't care.

A cheerful thought: half the doctors out there now graduated in the lower 50% of their class.

Sort of like the warning from your pilot, "we're going to have to come in pretty low for this landing." 😅

But I get your point.

The next step will be not rating doctors because you don't want to highlight the ones who never should have been admitted to medical school.

Well, forget about acceptance into Med-School if you're a Caucasian. You could claim you feel like you are an AA or Indian that crossdresses.

What is woke? Seems that the right created an inaccurate definition of that movement.

The Woke movement has been the opposite of the civil rights movement in the 60s', it has basically ignored whatever progress was made and continues to be offended at every opportunity.

So what do you think it is? Like what do you think they stand for?
