Ah-hem. Numerous uncalled late hits on Danny in 96, the hold on Warrick Dunn's 93 run, ejecting two starters for UF and two scrubs for fsu due to the '98 pre-game fight. I could go on.It's also the only game in FSU history where the ACC refs favored the Noles. A lot of firsts in that game.

Just a bit of trivia. I sat on Norriego Point about 10 years ago with Jon Wuerffel drinking a few beers and we talked about this game. (yes, Jon loves him some cold beer) and he was STILL angry about this game. Danny was hurt more than he showed, and it took some time for him to heal. This is when I never listened to the "awe shucks BS" about Bowden anymore. They purposely tried to injure Danny to get him out of the game. What a real Christian.
After UF beat Bama in the SECCG and was awarded a rematch with FSU, we could all see Bowden knew his team was screwed. Mickey Andrews has always been a POS assistant. We all saw that when he coached at UF as the secondary coach.
