BTW I've been hearing the dems say that the republicans are gonna end social security every election for my entire life. If republicans really want to end social security and haven't figured out how to do it by now, I think we're good.

I follow the issues going on in the 2A community. It's staggering the overreach that the ATF under Biden is actively doing and criminal what a few individual states are doing in direct defiance of recent SCOTUS decisions. Add to that the credit card companies are now adding a line item category to track firearm related purchases and the postal carriers are starting to track shipping and in some cases refuse to ship. All this is under pressure from this admin and a few in congress. Anyone who thinks that the moves being made are solely for 'common sense gun control' is simply ill-informed.
89% of all gun crime is committed by people who do not obtain their firearm legally...that means background checks, credit card and shipping tracking, and heavy restrictions of permits are essentially meaningless.
They do, but they have to “chip away” at it. That’s how it is with all of our liberties sir. They can’t do it all at once or folks would revolt. But a slow drip, will eventually get you there. Just like the old bull young bull sir.

I go on facts and common sense: Gun bans have been tried throughout the world. They never work. At best, the crime and deaths shift from being committed by guns, to being committed by other weapons.
If gun bans had been shown to REDUCE CRIME, then you would actually have some support for them. But they have consistently been shown to INCREASE crime, if anything.
Same thing with the man-made global warming hoax. There's zero evidence that man can change the climate. If there was, everyone would be on board with the climate change agenda.
But there isn't. That's why the only people that support the man-made climate change hoax are progressives.
