Playing his freshman season with Palm Beach Garden’s Benjamin, Hardley Gilmore gave a preview of coming attractions with the Buccaneers. Teaming with rising quarterback Tyler Aronson, Gilmore secured 16 passes for 229 yards with seven touchdowns. When the pigskin is teed up for the 2022 season, he’ll be driving secondaries crazy at IMG Academy with next level scouts watching.
Gilmore is already a wanted man holding seven offers with UCF, Syracuse, Florida State, Penn State and Pitt in the mix. Another big offer could be coming when he visits Athens alongside five-star 2023 teammate.
“Georgia, they want me to come up there,” Gilmore said. I’m going to go up there with Sam M’Pemba.
Gilmore gave insight on why he’s looking forward to visiting the Bulldogs.
“That’s exciting, they just got a national,” Gilmore shared. “That’ll be big for me.”
Another SEC team will play host to Gilmore again.
“I am going to Florida on March 6,” Gilmore stated.
The visit to Gainesville has his family anticipating time with the coaches.
“That’s my mom’s home team,” Gilmore said. “That’ll make my mom proud if I get that offer. And that’s a good school. I went to a game there vs. Florida State.”
Gilmore recounted his November game-day visit.
“It was loud in The Swamp,” Gimore stated. “They have good coaches. Then, coach Dan Mullen and the coaches, they talked to me; the coaches were nice and cool.”
Yet another SEC team may play host to Gilmore, this one also has family and IMG Academy ties.
“I might go to Ole Miss,” Gilmore said. “My cousin, Markevious Brown, he’s up there now. I may go up there for the spring game. He told me Ole Miss is a good school, he’s meeting new people, and the coaches are hard on him, but they have to be because that is football. You have to do that if you want to be the best.”
