I'm done with him. His campaign lied about Dr Ben Carson dropping out of the race after the 2016 Iowa primaries, he lied to Tucker last night.
He proved here that he's just another politician who will say whatever he needs to say to keep his job. And that's why he just ended any chance he ever had at being anything above TX senator. And if re-election for that was today, he'd lose bigly.

I think this was his way of sending a message to DC that they want to back him over DeSantis. That HE will work with them, and DeSantis is just another outsider like Trump that puts what the people want ahead of what's best for DC.

I take DeSantis over all of them. If Cruz runs it's to push issues...he won't get the support and can't raise the money. At the end of the day you got to be able to raise big money. You can get by for a long time with the media buzz but if you don't have the ground game which takes a lot of money you're out at some point.
With the sound bites out there now I would say Cruz has about the same chance Pence does which is close to Zero. I had forget about him parroting the Democrat lies right after Jan 6th last year. He is truly a snake.

Carson has impeccable character and intelligence, but he would have been completely in over his head as President. He's far too good of a person to deal with such a hive of scum and villainy as DC.
