Go Brandon!

Are you afraid to discuss anything in the bill. Here's a fair question. Do we really need to add 87,000 more IRS agents, more than doubling current amount? Isn't that a fair question and if not you can tell me.
I doubt he will answer this, too. Or WHY they need to be able to kill someone, which is how most of the jobs are advertised for

I’ll just leave this here. I’m sure the dems believe him.

Well. His own son disagrees with you, and his daughter says he showered with her. I will take his own flesh and bloods word over some rando internet pill counter.
So are you going on the record that you trust Hunter or the Biden's word? or is this a selective only when it benefit you type deal?

Why are we experiencing higher inflation than Germany, France, Canada, Australia and Switzerland?

Because we flooded our economy with cash and didn't produce enough goods and services to offset it.

You're trying to make the simple hard to avoid the truth.
BECAUSE OF COVID!

I am saying it's a republican talking point and it's funny how you guys literally do and believe what you're told to do and believe. Every party needs a boogeyman to get their voters worried and scared. This is the Republicans new boogeyman. Election time it will be a caravan again. Yes, I know the democrats will find something racial to scare the dems to vote. It's all a game and you guys get played easily.

I don't need a talking point from anyone to realize that doubling the number of IRS agents with the stroke of a pen is a bad idea. If someone farts, I don't need a talking point to realize that it will likely stink either fwiw.

We are a country of laws Mr police officer,

I'm really getting sick of this. It takes a dim witted person to not realize that those in law enforcement might be of the opinion that less government is better...that doubling the number of IRS agents might be a bad idea and ultimately tougher on the middle class.

Just because one becomes a cop, that doesn't mean that we aren't allowed to have opinions that might fly in the face of what YOU think we should believe. We aren't a collective. We are individuals with opinions just like everyone else.

Get this...I also believe that if we doubled the number of Deputies in my department, that would be a bad idea. Why? We don't need to double them...and if we did, we would be over-policing our neighborhoods.

Just freaking stop with this BS. It's just ignorant.

Use this gif.

The same applies to you. If you think Hunter is lying about his dad being a pedophile, does that mean he's also lying about his 'business deals' in China and Ukraine?

Pedo Peter said the same thing about his son's deals, so does that mean they are both lying?

So are you saying Hunter lies all the time, or is this a selective only when it benefits you type deal?

My goodness you are dense. And apparently a little triggered you can't drag me down to your level on this issue.

Covid disrupted some supply chains and affected productivity but it's detrimental effect on the supply of goods and services wouldn't have caused such massive inflation without infusing $5T in cash into the economy.

Go read my widget example again.

One thing - Covid shutdowns - we had little control over (arguable, but let's assume). The other was a dem policy decision. Together they've created the highest inflation in 40+ years.

Why is this so hard for you to grasp?

Following the facts makes his politics look bad.

His politics are more important to him than the facts.

You saying doubling agents mean they would go after the middle class is like saying adding more police officers means they will go after black people. It's just words to try to scare the group that is most concerned. Yet, I digress.

Yes, please digress. Early and often.

Doubling the IRS, adding nearly 90k new personnel...questioning that wisdom doesn't make me a conspiracy theorist. This is common sense.

And also, we now have Biden breaking a campaign promise according to many...and I can see how doubling the size of the IRS would help that effort.

PS...if we doubled my department, you could make a damn fine argument that more black people would go to jail as a result. IMO, based on our current crime rates, more everyone (whites, blacks and Hispanics), would go to jail in my county...but I'll digress as well.

Elon Musk said his taxes are audited every year 'by default' — after posting a debunked Republican claim that the IRS is hiring 87,000 new agents

Republicans including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said this week that $80 billion in new funding for the IRS, from the new Inflation Reduction Act, would go towards hiring 87,000 new IRS agents. The claim has been debunked by several outlets.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/irs-87000-new-agents/
This claim misrepresents a 2021 U.S. Treasury Department report estimating that around $80 billion in funding would allow the IRS to incrementally hire nearly 87,000 employees by the year 2031. Most of those hires would be replacements for workers retiring from existing positions, including not only IRS enforcement agents, but also customer service and technology specialists. According to the Treasury Department, audit rates for those earning less than $400,000 in actual income will not rise.

I feel your pain. While I'm not exactly warm and fuzzy with LEO's, I firmly believe in law and order. We definitely need more virtuous, dedicated people like yourself to judiciously keep the peace. What concerns me is the government issuing more jackboots promoting the New World Order, our Constitution be damned. I know I am preaching to the choir here with you. My apologies.

Ooops...I didn't say agents. Many different jobs within the IRS.

All of them assist with collecting taxes in one function or another, however.

You. Fail. Again.

Just STFU. Your value as a troll is vastly overrated. Sad. At least MDFer brings humor value. You draw flies to shit. lol

BTW...this guy believes that IRS will need to replace nearly 87,000 employees due to retirement and turnover over the next 8 years.

...their current workforce is 78,661 btw. 😂

There are no new 87,000 agents...there is no doubling of the size of the IRS

So now we need to have this same discussion in two threads?

You should start a new thread to make sure we cover everything. 😂🤣😂

is this from MSNBC???
No, it was from IRS.gov.

When people noticed they changed it.

A 2021 report shows IRS training agents how to conduct a raid.

They purchased $700k in ammo and military grade weapons so far in 2022.

You being cute and attacking sources doesn’t change the truth. The IRS is being militarized and will be the largest govt agency by a factor of 3 very soon.

Every time there is a topic that makes the dems look bad, there is a designated troll that tries to get the thread sidetracked and get the focus off the dems, and onto them.

Normally it's @kalimgoodman trying to bail out Hiden, for this topic it's the Gay Bay lover.

The left still looks like steaming shit as they crap all over the Constitution.
