Want to make sure I was registered today and they let me go ahead and vote. Will never ask anybody how they voted but would love to see who voted in 2024 and what is arguably the most important election in my lifetime.

Despite my sometimes slightly more left-leaning than my friends on here, being a conservative at heart, it was a no-brainer. Count one vote for Trump and Vance from me.

Voted last week. In person early voting.

Bank that sh!t, don't want to let some Verizon outage shenanigans take away my vote.

My vote today was by a ballot. Printed off a computer, but it was still a ballot. Y’all remember those things? Lol.

The first Presidential election I was able to vote in was 1972. I have never missed voting in any election since that time

What is your feeling for our chances in VA?
I don’t know, the population areas are deep blue.

In my area I’m seeing a lot more Harris/Walz signs than I have in the last cycle, and I live in a pretty red area.

With the massive growth of govt it’s going to be tough. Those DC suburbs are largely bedroom communities.

I think it’s gonna be a long time before Virginia is red again if ever.
Washington DC is Virginia and is 90% liberal

Elon said he thinks Trump will cut the size of the Federal govt by 80%.

If that happened, while unlikely, that may do it.

1980 for me, and have never missed a vote, nor will I ever. Unless they have one hell if a theft plan, Trump will clobber that glorified idiot.

1968 here and never missed an election. I've also never voted for a Democrat for president. In 1968 NE Florida was solid Democrat and you were forced to register Democrat or you'd never be able to vote in local elections.

We did.

It’s not impossible here, it’s just hard.

Youngkin is also a bit more centrist than what people perceive Trump to be, and Northam was awful.
Didn't Youngkin capitalize on an issue with the schools' teaching the "CRT" or some other such issue? Do the people of VA who work in Washington not care if their kids are educated according to Democrat propaganda?

That's the same thing my dad said. I'm not sure he ever switched parties either. But as far as I know, neither one of us has ever voted for a Democrat President nor Senator. I'm pretty sure he didn't even vote for Kennedy. 😂

Voting in person for sure thia year, our daughter turned 18 a few months back so going to share that first experience with her which is going to be a really cool conversation before and after too. It’s probably the one thing turning 18 that meant a lot to me, but maybe that was because the drinking age had just jumped to 21 by then. Barely miss the birthday cutoff and nothing worse than your friends a just year older buying at 19 legally and you have to wait, legally that is. Lol

What's this 18 year old drinking age thing? When I was 16 I had sideburns and a moustache. I'd pull through the drivethru at the SawDust Trail, order a drink. You got a plastic cup of ice plus your choice of mixer and a miniature. 😂

RAT 🐀 professor said deplorable men should be shot 😡😡

THIS is why I will NEVER, EVER give ANY of my firearms up. I want to have the ADVANTAGE if I need to defend myself and family. This is ALSO why THEY want to take our guns away...the REAL reason....just like EVERY good communist/socialist Country does.

I think the context is a little different in his statement as what he said was more about the ignorance of a male but not voting for a female candidate just because she was perceived to be not as smart as a male. That’s said. Kansas like most colleges today have a liberal slant and don’t know his politics but maybe there was more to his comments than just the snippet produced. I’ve had roughly 10-15 Managers in the career, and only two women. Those two were in the top 5 of the best ones I’ve had. I’m a firm believer in hiring the best qualified person for the job, regardless of whatever DEI criteria is in place at your job. I don’t discern over race, sexual orientation or religion etc, just give me someone that offers us the best opportunity to succeed. If you don't, you just make your company weaker. That said, in my view there is no comparison of the candidate quality in this presidential electio. Trump is a proven leader (even sans his shortcomings) and the left sees it which is quite telling as they continue to shift over for him in droves.

Has nothing to do with male or female. Has to do with the fact that Kamala is not smart. There are several women who I would vote for if they were running for president.
Into even hint or imply, that people should be lined up and shot for any reason regarding their voting, lowers the bar and sets into motion. People thinking that’s somewhat acceptable. It’s inexcusable and he should lose his job.

I think maybe my point above was misunderstood. I am referencing to his statement annd and Quite frankly in agreement of the absurdity of certain men who would never vote for a woman solely because they think a man is inherently smarter. However. I don’t agree with his comments about “them being shot” or any parallel with who they vote for in this election. If you’re dumb enough to vote for that Dem ticket, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a man or a woman. It was not a validation of the entirety of the clip, trust this clarifies.

Voted yesterday after work, in person.
They had a long blank paper they gave me, I had to put it into the voting machine and then voting was by touch.
When I was done I had to hit the print tab, the ballot was printed out and then I had to take it to the other machine and put it in that one.
All in all about 40 total minutes from when I turned off my truck to when I turned on my truck.

Sadly I had requested a mail in ballot and got it the other day but decided I didn't want my signature to appear on the outside of the return envelope so I ditched it for the in person vote.
I say sadly because the place I went to yesterday to vote accepts mail in ballots as a drop off point.

Oh well, it's done - voted and not looking back.

Ok so there were several women that refused to vote for Donald Trump because of the type of man that he is. Is that OK?
