Expectation Levels?
Taking the pulse of the Gator Nation right now, it seems we are at an all-time high – very similar to when Urban Meyer arrived in Gainesville. Are you worried that the expectation level is set too high right now?
How many years are you willing to give these guys until they bring Florida back? What does “back” mean for you? SECCG appearance? Are we talking 10-2? Break it down for me. Right now, Florida seems like the flavor of the month, which worries me a bit because it seems the bar is set sooooo high we might have a hard time reaching it, but this is the University of Florida, and the bar should be hard to reach.
Is this going to be the longest off-season in the history of Florida football? That’s what it feels like to me.

Can you name Boxing’s longest-reigning champion? He has held the belt for 2,493 days. He is the 126-pound champ and fights once a year. If you said Gary Russell JR, congrats, but I know you didn’t. Saturday night on Showtime at 9 PM ET, he will defend his featherweight title when he fights Mark Magsayo – trained by Freddie Roach and promoted by Manny Pacquiao. I will be curious to see this fight.
You already know I will be watching UFC 270 – Ngannou vs. Gane + Moreno vs. Figueiredo. I have not changed my predictions from earlier in the week, so I am sticking with Ngannou and Figueiredo.
