Flynn Plead The Fifth To The Question "Do You Believe The Violence On Jan 6 Was Justified"

Better question is this:

Do you believe that all elections should be open, transparent, and fair to all candidates, with the chance of election fraud reduced as much as is humanly possible, and open to a full public forensic audit if either side requests one?

Next question:

Does anyone really believe that 2020 met the above criteria?

WASHINGTON —
Witness: Trump wanted metal detectors taken away for Jan. 6 rally, said armed rallygoers were ‘not here to hurt me.’

Trump was 'furious' people with weapons weren't allowed through metal detectors at Jan 6 rally because it kept crowd size small

  • A former aide said Trump was "****ing furious" that the crowd area wasn't full ahead of his Jan 6 speech.
  • "He doesn't get it that the people on the monument side don't want to come in," another aide replied.
  • His armed supporters weren't allowed into the area where he was giving a speech because they had weapons.
The January 6 committee revealed on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump's presidency ended in much the same way it began: with concerns about crowd size looming large.

Cassidy Hutchinson testified at the hastily arranged hearing that Trump grew irate due to the effect that security screening was having on a crowd of his heavily armed supporters that had gathered to watch his speech on the Ellipse on January 6, 2021.

"The crowd looks good from the vanish [sic] point. As long as we get the shot. He was ****ing furious," wrote Cassidy Hutchinson, then a special assistant to the president, in a text to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Tony Ornato on the morning of January 6.

"He doesn't get it that the people on the monument side don't want to come in," Ornato replied. "They can see from there and don't have to go through mags."

"Mags" refers to the metal detectors used by Secret Service to screen attendees of Trump's speech. At one point, Trump grew so irate that he ordered his aides to have the metal detectors removed.

"Something to the effect of take the f-ing mags away," she said when asked by committee Vice Chair Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming how he responded.

Top White House lawyer warned 'we're going to be charged with every crime imaginable' if Trump went to the Capitol on January 6, ex-White House aide testifies

  • Cassidy Hutchinson testified that the top White House lawyer was worried about Trump potentially going to the Capitol.
  • Pat Cipollone, Hutchinson testified, said Trump would be "charged with every crime imaginable" if he followed through.
  • Trump ultimately did not go to the Capitol on January 6.
Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified on Tuesday that the top White House lawyer, Pat Cipollone, was gravely concerned about President Donald Trump facing criminal charges if he went to the Capitol on January 6 along with thousands of protesters.

"Mr. [Pat] Cipollone said something to the effect of, 'please make sure that we don't go up to the Capitol, Cassidy, keep in touch with me,'" Hutchinson told the January 6 Select Committee of a conversation she had with Cipollone on January 6. "We're going to get charged with every crime imaginable if we make that movement happen."

Hutchinson testified earlier to the committee that Cipollone, who was then the White House counsel, was concerned that Trump could be charged with obstructing justice or the Electoral College count if Trump went to the Capitol on January 6.

"He was also worried that it would look like we were inciting a riot or encouraging a riot to happen up at the Capitol," Hutchinson told the panel during one of four videotaped depositions she previously conducted with the panel.

Some Trump allies have claimed the president did not want to travel to the Capitol on January 6 as Congress undertook its duty to certify the election.

Cipollone's reported views are of paramount importance. The White House counsel is not the president's personal lawyer, but gives the president legal advice. John Dean was famously President Richard Nixon's White House counsel before turning on the president amid efforts to cover up the Watergate break-in.

You are about a dumb bitch. Nobody has charged Trump with anything. [Yet]

Fixed that for you

And what exactly is your problem with Trump wanting his armed supporters at his rally????

How about we start with its illegal?

Federal prosecutors alleged in a new court filing that members of the Oath Keepers militia group who joined in the Jan. 6 insurrection appear to have stashed weapons at a hotel in Virginia as part of a so-called "Quick Reaction Force" they could activate if violence escalated that day.

In a court document filed Monday seeking the continued detention of Kenneth Harrelson, one of a dozen members of the Oath Keepers charged in a sweeping conspiracy case against the group, prosecutors cited newly discovered communications allegedly showing members discussing storing their weapons at a Comfort Inn in Arlington, Virginia, knowing that possessing such arms within Washington, D.C., would be illegal.

Yes, YET. And until such time as he is, your little skit is stupid.

And that law is unconstitutional.

  • One place you won't be able to find firearms in Texas is at the NRA's Houston conference this week.
  • Attendees aren't allowed to bring their firearms into the event, per Secret Service guidelines.
  • That's because former President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at the forum.

SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. Doesn't say shit about hte secret service or sensitive areas. D.C. is the capital of the USA, if there's any place you shouldn't be restricted from exercising every single one of your rights, its there.

D.C. has been sued multiple times for 2nd Amendment violations, see Heller.

Once again dumbass, it has nothing to do with the NRA and everything to do with the Secret Service.

If Trump wasn't speaking, we;d be wandering around armed.
