Possibly the most climatic LHS Dreadnaughts' game that I have ever witnessed. Lakeland's season was on the brink of ending as the Dreadnaughts trailed the Niceville Eagles, 12-0, in the second half. The game went three overtimes. In the third, the Eagles' 2-point conversion, clocked in ultra slow motion, fell inches short of the end zone. The Dreadnaughts win, 34-33!
Props to Niceville's players and coaches - a class act. One of the coaches told us to go win state. I congratulated him on the Eagles' success this season.
