The Florida Gators have lost another catcher to the Transfer Portal according to D1 Baseball’s Transfer Tracker. Freshman catcher Salvy Alvarez has reportedly entered the Transfer Portal. Alvarez is a talented defensive catcher but didn’t play at all this season. Rene Lastres has already put his name in the portal. Luke Heyman will be the only returning catcher next season.
