I am more inclined to believe that an investigation will show it to be incompetence combined with cowardice just like the S FL school shooting.

I've read that there is some protocol in active shooter situation that proper backup has to be there and the order from command to storm the premises. I can understand that in a hostage situation, that's not what happened here. That needs to change immediately. They should have shot him on sight when it was obvious he was carrying a rifle and didn't heed a warning to stop.

This is yet another situation bred by the left and the media coddling perpetrators and defund the police bullshit. THIS is what happens when the police are handcuffed by these rules and the threat of themselves being subjected to being charged with a crime. CRAP!

Whatever Sheriff or police chief that didn't change that written policy for schools after S FL needs to be voted out or removed by the city council. And all the cops who stood around there need to be identified and shamed in public for the cowards they are. Don't care even if it was a cop that a bullet gave him an injury in their initial shootout. They should have been hightailing it after him as he entered that school and classroom.

"The media will need a distraction."

You're right, these are used to sway public opinion, but also as a tool to distract away from other news stories.

Learn to watch the timing of shootings. In almost every instance, there is a major news story that's damaging to the dems, that the shooting will distract from.

Hiden can bang the podium and demand gun laws and it does two very important things:

1 - Rallies public opinion for getting rid of guns, the biggest issue for the dems

2 - Gives Hiden a way to connect with his base, which he desperately needs.


This is red meat to the alt left crazies like the ones on this board. So it distracts from the bad news AND gives Hiden a way to actually get his base excited about him for the first time since he took* office.
