3rd and 3 presnap flo had two receivers and flo st had a cb a safety and an olb into the boundary and that’s where franks threw.

It was a bad playcall. We tried to flood the boundary, we had 3 receivers there that’s where we wanted to go. Looks like Mullen was expecting the receivers to run off the corner and open up the flare to Lewis but the corner never bit. Everything isn’t Franks. We’d have been better off calling QB power.
Does Dean know that you can’t grab the guy you’re covering?

Doesn’t have the speed to play corner, he needs to be a safety. That’s why he’s always grabbing and getting PI called on him, it’s the only way he can stay with receivers.
Mullen being too cute. Great playcaller but he falls into that trap from time to time. We don have any rhythm to anything we’re doing.
Me either. Get downhill. Especially since we’re not attaching a read to it on the backside. FSU and most defenses will be fast enough to chase it down.
He’s an idiot sometimes. It’s 3rd and 5 and he calls a safety blitz. And 3rd and 5 the offense is going to throw hot, the safety would never get there in time. The slot receiver on the right side was wide open too and he had our MLB who can’t cover chasing him in man coverage. Dumb timing and even worse design.
Underrated aspect...Swain is killing us on field position with his punt return decisions. He’s let it bounce a few times which cost us 20 ish yards on field position. Just now we set up the return with plenty of room to operate and he fair catches. Put anybody else back there please, he’s terrible. Doesn’t even have the speed to be a good returner either.
Mullen getting too cute again. Not a single run play called once in the redzone. We can’t throw in that contested area, lean on the ground game and then suck them up. Mullen’s playcalling has taken a minimum of 6 points off the board. Not his best half.
We need to put the ball in the end zone...We've been down there 4 times and come away with 3 field goals. Giving these guys chances to be in this game.
