Drew Hughes was director of player personnel at Florida

He left today to take the same job at UT. I'm sure that he was horrible like Chris Rumpf ( according to Instaloon)

I assume he took the job due to his friendship with Pruitt when both worked for Nick Saban.

Or was Mullen wanting someone in that office of his own choosing?

Him and Pruitt had ties back to Bama...Hughes had been at UF through Muschamp and Butter Teeth. Muschamp tried to get him to go to SC but Hughes chose to stay at UF. I don't know much about the guy. Sounds like the split was mutual.
