Love his stuff generally, esp. the TikTok segments, but Tony, Trump is on the cusp of a landslide and bro, did NOT, 8 days before an election, need to go into a rant on Puerto Ricans. It highlights that Trump’s hardest task, is getting people who are truly accretive (read: JD Vance) versus those who lose focus and to use a painful Gator analog, “Throw the shoe.”

It was dumb, and in a very close election, could potentially change an outcome.

Sorry my friend..this matters ZERO..NADA...none. Maybe the 15-20 dumb a$$e$ left in America. No one but a complete idiot would blame Trump for a comedian telling a joke. What a horrible take. When groceries have gone up 25% since these communists got in to office....interest rates gone up 5%...you are so much smarter than this. Color this election red..its over. Dumb for a comedian to tell an off color joke? And that will hurt Trump??? LOLOLOLOL Swing and a miss.

are we thinking that there are voters who have seen and heard all of the shit that has gone on in regards to trump over the last ten years and are undecided at this hour? Some voter who saw Russia Russia Russia…. Saw the perfect phone call, Jan 6 etc and just wasn’t sure which way they were gonna go until they heard this comedian make this joke and this was just a bridge to far? I’m skeptical

It won't change anything. Crazy the Dems would waste precious time on a comedy skit but it looks like naive young people are running a lot of things in that campaign.

On a different note: spent the weekend in Seaside. Incredible place.

It was dumb. But comedians are notorious for shock material. Also, Hispanics are NOT monolithic mind hive beings. That's why there has been much conflict in South America. There are plenty of Hispanics who don't care for Puerto Rico. It's like UF vs FSU. I can guarantee your a bunch of Hispanics laughed their asses off at the jokes at Puerto Rico's expense. But the media is looking for Hail Marys at the moment and will use it as a wedge issue.

Agreed. I watch Tony’s stuff. It’s hilarious and really inclusive.

He (Tony) was in over his head and got lazy. It wasn’t really funny either. Wrong target too. Just take shots at Kamala; it’s literally 10’plus minutes of standup.

Trump killed on Rogan and Kamala couldn’t hang.

Media is beyond desperate.

Dude… Trump did not risk a damn thing. If anyone is this big of a pu$$y I truly do not want for them to vote like I do. This is ridiculous. I love ya bro, but you are more than reaching here. You have a f’n opponent that let in TWENTY MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS, and caused every day items to go up 25%, and rated to almost TRIPLE. Are you actually being serious here? It’s not, even Byron Donald on CNBC said the same.

It’s an unforced error from a guy who had nothing to do with Trumps campaign until MSG. I am not blaming Trump at all.

I am blaming Tony. He needs to do better - for Trump so that we don’t again have the broad set of issues you exactly enumerate.

She’s getting destroyed on social media for trying to make this a issue saying she’s fighting for Puerto Rico

Trump did not go on a rant about Puerto Ricans. Whomever you’re listening to is less informed than you are.

One of the very early speakers was an “insult” comic and likened PR to a floating island of trash. The joke exists because the island is having a serious (and well documented) problem with waste management. Had nothing to do with the people and it wasn’t racist at all.

It was a flyover moment in the larger context of a great event. Stop clutching pearls, it’s a joke not a dick. Don’t take it so hard.

I didn't know PR had a waste disposal issue. It's not something I've ever contemplated. A visit to PR is NOT on my bucket list (nor is Haiti) 😂

I think it's funny as hell that Dixie offends people but it does, so, if you're running for office trying to attract diverse votes and you play the song, you are a moron. Hopefully, they did not actually do that but it wouldn't surprise me that much.

Most Caribbean islands do. I take my 21 ft boat to Bimini almost ever year. When you walk on the north island in town...the smell is horrible. They have too take the garbage off the island

We have a VP candidate that is a valor thief. That let his city burn to the ground, and his wife enjoyed the smell. We have a VP that PURPOSELY opened the border to let ILLEGAL ALIENS in by the 21 millions, that are CRUSHING our cites with budget problems, and crime. We have prices up 25% while incomes did not rise. We have the World RIGHT ON THE EDGE of WWIII because of appeasement, and weakness. We have rates so high young people cannot afford homes. PLEASE...tell me where I am wrong....WTF does it matter when a comedian makes a SLIGHTLY off color joke compared to what I just listed? I am ASTONISHED anyone COULD even bring this up when our Country is in SERIOUS trouble! I believe it is already out of the news cycle. 1. The debate (as you note)
2. The RNC speech when after a great first 40-45 minutes, he rambled and got wildly off message
3. Black Journalists Conference - zero upside, tons of downside (which we saw)
Finally: MSG when he did not have more women on the stage. Megan Kelly nailed it in that as Trump has gotten confident, he turned it into a bro fest.

If this is tied in the popular vote though going into election day, then Trump will likely win in a landslide.

Overall, Trump has run a far better campaign.
