I wonder if the Disney war will end up just like the much celebrated Patriot Act was celebrated after 911? I remember well intentioned Rep voters beating their chest over that one at the time as well. Government legislation that “protects” us is fantastic.

I'm more in favor of not passing laws that empower corporations as though they are self-governing. Repealing a law like that is a step in the right direction imho.

Curious to see how all this plays out. I think the primary is over early but curious to see how DeSantis holds up for 2nd when the Never-Trumpers realize he has no chance to win. Does someone else get traction. What happens if NY with the assistance from the Judge is able to seat an all-crazed leftist jury in the summer of 2024 and get a joke conviction. If the appeals court doesnt step in quickly what does Trump do? He needs to make sure he has mostly loyal delegates so if he thinks its best to step aside they will support his choice. My guess is it would be Ramaswamy.

If taking away “special” privileges is the real reason for doing this, then Ron and “conservatives” should be all in and take away the other 1800 special districts, no?
