....the man. Guy can really coach. He will make some bad calls and so will others...the game is played on the field but the UF coaching team can really make good in game adjustments. Our offense is rolling and I love how Mullen's teams fight like hell every snap. Butter teeth's teams were so weak (he's a total pu$$y), Muschamp's teams were poorly coached during the game but played hard. I'll say it again...Mullen is building a monster.

Mullen can coach and develop. Another win in a tough environment.

The coaching is the most impressive to me. I haven't seen half time adjustments like this in years at UF. The game plan is usually great....players play the entire game and they don't quit. The team chemistry seems good. Not sure what our record is by the end of the year but guys are stepping up...Trask is playing great. Mullen is calling some great games. Things keep heading in the right direction.

Dan is the Man!!

He’s building the program and I have a feeling he may be building a monster. This wasn’t a quick fix but he’s sure doing a great job.

Building a great program IF as the old saying says, “If we win they’ll ( RECRUITS ) come.” Hopefully we end up winning the S.E.C. or at least the East and will get a top 5 class full of skill but, more importantly O.L.’s and D.L.’s.

Dan is going to get his...the recruiting is going to get better and we'll get the guys that we need for his system. It's a total rebuild...and in the 2nd year we're in the top 10 AGAIN. Mullen is doing it better or as good as anyone. We'll see the games. We're already one of the best teams in the country...2 years ago we were one of the worst. Square that if you think that Mullen can't coach or recruit.

My evidence for Dan Mullen being the 2018 Coach of the Year, and the 2019 CoY.

June 19, 2018 247 Sports - The 20 Best Returning Players in the SEC.

Zero, None, NADA,,, were Florida Gators. o_O
https://247sports.com/pffcollege/Co...est-returning-players--119168980/#119168980_1

In his 1st season at UF, Dan took a 4-7 team to 10-3, and a chit-stomping of Mich/Hardblow in the Peach Bowl. :p
Ended the season ranked #6 Coaches Poll, 7t in the media-moron AP.

In his 2nd season, he has the Gators at 6-1, 3-1 SEC and ranked #7 ahead of UGly going into the WLOCP. :p

He's doing this despite early injuries to #1 Henderson, #1 Toney, and lately with injuries to two of the best DE's in FBS, Zuniga and Greenard.

Not to mention losing the starting QB for the season in the 3rd game, 3rd quarter, and down by 11 @ UK.

No. 7 Florida: Can the defense get healthy?
The Gators absolutely have to have Jonathan Greenard and Jabari Zuniga either at or close to full strength if they want to maximize their chances of winning the SEC East. And while they are expected to play against Georgia on Nov. 2, no one knows how effective they will be. Zuniga has been hampered most of the season by a high ankle sprain, and without him, Greenard stepped up to lead the team in sacks and tackles for loss. But Greenard also suffered an ankle injury against Auburn and was unable to play against LSU and South Carolina, and the Gators' pass rush struggled. There is no question he was playing at an All-America level before the injury, so how he looks when he returns remains the biggest question mark for this team. -- Adelson

Florida coach Dan Mullen said he expects injured defensive starters Jonathan Greenard and Jabari Zuniga, along with wideout Kadarius Toney, to be available by the time the seventh-ranked Gators play the No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs on Nov. 2 in Jacksonville.

"We expect those guys to be back," Mullen told the radio show "SEC This Morning" on Tuesday. "This is a big recovery week for us. So we'll know more next week. But we expect all three of those guys to be back."

Much of this is instilling the CULTURE of winning. Everyone pretty much agrees that winning the game is 90% how you enter it mentally. You have either won or lost the game before it even kicks off. We were actually comfortable with losing games under Muschamp and Butterteeth. It took someone like Dan to come in and change perceptions, change expectations of these players for the season, for the week, and for the current day as to what they want to achieve and what they need to do to make it happen.

These kids now enter every single game expecting to win and fight like anything to attain that. We have seen them overcome adversity time and time again. The comeback against Kentucky and South Carolina this year. The come back against South Carolina last year. The win at Miss State early last year when everyone picked us to lose that game and we still hadn't proven anything yet under Mullen. Beating LSU last year as clear underdogs at home.

Honestly the only thing you can say he failed us in nearly 2 full years is losing to Kentucky in 2018 and having the streak broken but that writing was pretty much on the wall. Team was too young and immature under his program to really have a chance against that offense. Other than that, he has done something that less than 10% of coaches seem to understand. The WILL to win is more important that the teaching of technique and X's and O's. That mentality that you are going to go in there on the next play and make magic happen because you KNOW you are better. 90% of teams honestly do not have that and their coaching staffs do not breed that into their programs. Clempson does that. Do you think Dabo rose that nobody program to where they are today just by recruiting better? Nick Saban and Alabama are like that as well. There is no excuse for losing because you are the best and you're supposed to beat everyone, no matter what polls or Vegas says.

I'd even give him a break in that 1st UK game. -- MLB Reese did not play, and Fr All SEC CB Marco Wilson went out in the 1st defensive series, forcing tFr Dean in to play.

Yeah...agree...I've said it a bunch of times...Mullen's teams don't quit. We again are the FIGHTING GATORS again. My biggest problem under Mac was we would quit. You can tell that the locker room is under control and competitive. Savage is keeping those guys on point. We might not win next Saturday but we're coming to win. You're right...we expect to win and do what it takes to win.

Not to mention Dan really wants to be here and he wants to be successful. He really enjoys being a Gator. I have no doubt he will be successful here.

That's the best part for me...a lot of fans talked like how he and his wife didn't like Gainesville and it wouldn't be a good fit. We've seen the exact opposite...it's almost like an SOS situation where he played at UF and came back to save the program...Mullen is all in and he's looking to take it to another level. I love how he promotes the team and the culture...finally someone with fire and follow through.

Shart has lost to McElwain, Derek Mason, Butch Jones, and Muschamp. Believe me, nobody is scared of his coaching prowess. Dude could easily lose next week to UF.

I put this in another thread, but it won't hurt repeating it here... ;)

Through the first eight games, Florida is one of just two teams nationally that has broken three runs for 70 or more yards (Memphis also has three). The Gators are also one of just seven teams nationally that has connected on at least four passes of 60 or more yards.

Perhaps just as impressive as the fact that Florida ranks tied for third nationally with seven plays of 60 or more yards is how spread out those big plays have been. Six different players have accounted for one of those monster plays and none of those 6 were 5-stars. Florida's sheer number of playmakers makes it tough to figure out who you want to take away defensively. Focus too much on any one guy and there's four more waiting to burn you. And Floirda/Dan expects to get Toney back next week....

"We don't have to go eight plays for a touchdown," Swain said. "We could go one and done and take big shots and run big runs. We just (have) electric offense."

You're right, pick your poison.

Your team is hot garbage. They have been EXPOSED. Not only are you not winning the East, Auburn and TAMU are going to get you along with the beatdown coming from Florida. You are looking at 4-4 in the SEC and the Outback Bowl at best.

A weasel like scumbag. Just like his mentor Urban Meyer

And who's ass does he own? Go on, you can say it.

AUBURN'S.

Until AT LEAST 2024.

And if we beat you at your place in '24, you may never see Auburn beat Florida again IN YOUR LIFETIME.

Sit and spin on that for a while.
