We'll know when it's either heavily covered for weeks or it immediately drops off the radar.

The plot the FBI foiled earlier this year was barely covered...and certainly not by any right wing media outlet

Was that because it wasn't a domestic terrorism case or was that because it was white supremacists?

Is Hunter involved with a business that splices cables? And did the electric substation produce power through coal, natural gas or nuclear?

Pitiful, even for you. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

No...its just that they've done this sort of crap before...so we shouldn't suspect they're behind it now?

Name another group that has planned to shoot up power stations in the US besides right wing extremists?

White supremacists plotted to attack US electric grid by shooting into power stations, FBI says
Amy Forliti Associated Press

MINNEAPOLIS — White supremacists plotted to attack power stations in the southeastern U.S., and an Ohio teenager who allegedly shared the plan said he wanted the group to be "operational" on a fast-tracked timeline if President Donald Trump were to lose his re-election bid, the FBI alleges in an affidavit that was mistakenly unsealed.

The teenager wanted the group to be "operational" by the 2024 election because he believed it was likely a Democrat would win, but "the timeline for being operational would accelerate if President Trump lost the 2020 election," according to the affidavit.

An informant told investigators that the teen "definitely wanted to be operational for violence, but also activism."

The Ohio teen, who was 17 at the time, also shared plans with a smaller group about a plot to create a power outage by shooting rifle rounds into power stations in the southeastern U.S. The teen called the plot "Light's Out" and there were plans to carry it out in the summer of 2021, the affidavit states.

Well it HAD to be someone from the right. The left could NEVER hit their target with a gun. Even if they had access to get right next to it, the left has ONLY girly "men" that know ZERO about firearms. Probably could not even load a gun

Plenty of women own and shoot guns.
Not lefties women. Not even lefty men. They are MUCH better at same sex subjects. Firearms are out of their wheelhouse. Lefty "men" know MUCH more about "man" bun styles than firearms

And I put " " because there are really ZERO lefty MEN...I should have put Males. But 75% of them do not even know the difference between a Man and a woman. You HAVE to agree with that.

It's amazing watching "legitimate news organizations" tie themselves into knots to convince the sheep of this crap.

I'm sorry, but anyone stupid enough to believe any of that crap was never going to vote for a conservative anyway.

Germany arrests 25 suspected far-right extremists for plotting to overthrow government
By Zahid Mahmood and Chris Stern, CNN

German officials arrested 22 suspected members and three suspected supporters of a far-right terrorist organization across the country on Wednesday on suspicion of plotting to overthrow the government.

Alleged members of the plot include a descendant of German royalty and a former far-right member of the Bundestag, Germany’s lower house of parliament, according to German prosecutors and local media reports.

In a statement, the German federal prosecutor’s office said an estimated 50 people were suspected to have been part of the group called Reich Citizens (Reichsbürger) movement, founded no later than November 2021, who were plotting to overthrow the government and replace it with their own order.

“The accused are united by a deep rejection of state institutions and the free democratic basic order of the Federal Republic of Germany, which over time has led to their decision to participate in their violent elimination and to engage in concrete preparatory actions for this purpose,” the statement said.

“The members of the group follow a conglomerate of conspiracy myths consisting of narratives of the so-called Reichsbürger as well as QAnon ideology,” said the statement, which added that the suspected members of the organization were German nationals, while two of the suspected supporters were German and one was Russian.

Gunfire at South Carolina Hydropower Plant Stokes Grid Concerns

Josh Saul, Mark Chediak and Will Wade
Thu, December 8, 2022 at 4:18 PM·3 min read

(Bloomberg) -- Shots were fired near a Duke Energy Corp. hydropower plant in Ridgeway, South Carolina, Wednesday evening — the second incident in the past week of gunfire at a US power facility after armed attacks on two substations knocked out electricity for about 45,000 homes and businesses in neighboring North Carolina.

Law enforcement agencies are investigating at least eight incidents in four states in the past month, an unusual uptick of violence for power plants, which don’t typically see many physical attacks. Jon Wellinghoff, former chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, said he couldn’t recall another month with this many physical threats to the US electric grid.

“The attacks continue to demonstrate the grid is vulnerable and we haven’t adequately protected it from physical attacks,” Wellinghoff said.

As of now, it’s unclear whether the shots fired in different states are in any way connected. Richard Maness, the sheriff’s office chief deputy for Moore County, North Carolina, said investigators are looking into all the national incidents for any possible links. His office is also working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, he said.

As North Carolinians regain power, investigators probe terrorism and threats against power substations across the US. One expert explains what needs to be done

CNN — A growing number of reported threats to power infrastructure are under investigation following attacks on substations in the South and on the West Coast as electricity becomes a more critical need in winter.

Even before the gun assaults Saturday in Moore County, North Carolina, wiped out power for days to thousands, at least five electricity substations in Oregon and Washington had been attacked in November, according to energy companies.

While no motive or suspect behind the North Carolina attacks has been identified, investigators are zeroing in on two possible threads centered on extremist behavior: writings by extremists on online forums encouraging attacks on critical infrastructure and a series of recent disruptions of LGBTQ+ events across the nation by domestic extremists, law enforcement sources told CNN.

In Oregon, a substation in Clackamas was damaged in a “deliberate physical attack” over the Thanksgiving holiday, a Bonneville Power Administration spokesperson told CNN. “BPA operators discovered a cut perimeter fence and damaged equipment inside,” the spokesperson said, adding the company is working with the FBI on the incident.

• In Washington state, “two incidents occur(ed) in late November at two different substations,” Puget Sound Energy spokesperson told CNN. “Both incidents are currently under investigation by the FBI,” it said, adding, “We are aware of recent threats on power systems across the country and take these very seriously.”

And two Cowlitz County Public Utility District substations were vandalized in mid-November in the Woodland area, agency spokesperson Alice Dietz told The Seattle Times. “At this time, we do not have any further comment … Our facilities have since been repaired,” Dietz told the Times. CNN has reached out to the FBI’s office in Seattle for comment.

The left screams that police need more specialized training...antifa sets fire to those efforts.

If you don't think about it, this makes sense. Actually it makes perfect sense. ANTIFA and many on the left simply don't want people to face accountability for their illegal acts...even if they're violent in nature.

Three power substations vandalized in Washington, knocking out power for 14,000

BY JORDAN FREIMAN
UPDATED ON: DECEMBER 25, 2022 / 9:36 PM / CBS NEWS

Three power substations in the Tacoma, Washington, area were vandalized Sunday, knocking out power to around 14,000 customers, police said.

The first substation, located in Spanaway, Washington, and belonging to Tacoma Public Utilities, was attacked around 5:30 a.m. local time, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. Nothing was stolen, but equipment was vandalized, leading to outages in the area, police said.

A second nearby TPU substation was also vandalized, police said.

A substation belonging to Puget Sound Energy was also vandalized sometime in the early morning, police said. Power went around 2:30 a.m. local time. Police were notified around 11:30 a.m., and when they arrived on the scene, they found "the fenced area was broken into and the equipment vandalized," similar to the other two substations.

No suspects are in custody and it was not immediately clear if all three substations were vandalized by the same person or people or if the attacks are related.
