The AP MADIA-MORONS rank the Neutered Lame in the Top 4.

The #4 Neutered Lame began the season with a 7 pt win at home vs 6-1 #6 Mich.
#6 Mich is 6-1 with only one win over a ranked team, they just won at home vs #17 Wis.

NL won at home against 4-2 Stanford (38-17).
Stanford just lost at home to NR Utah (40-21).

NL won at home against freakin' Ball St by 8 pts.

They won at home against 3-4 VU by 5 pts.
UF just beat VU by 10 pts @ VU.

NL just won at home against 3-4 Pitt by 5 pts.

Next up they have the mighty 2-4 Navy Midshipmen. :rolleyes:

#9 Choke-la-homa lost to the only ranked team they've played, #19 Tx.
Now Tx is ranked at #7 after losing to freakin' NR Maryland to begin the season.
Then finally winning at home over #7 OK by a FG.

#11 UF is 6-1 and beat #5 LSU 6-1
#11 UF is 6-1 and beat the team that just beat #2 UGly 6-1.
But now at #7, UGly and #4 LSU are both still ranked ahead of #9 UF. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

#11 UCF has played a total chit schedule, most don't even have a winning record.
They just beat NR 4-3 Memphis by 1 pt and have yet to play a single ranked team.

#9 UF is 6-1, is 2-1 vs Ranked teams, with their only loss in game 2 to #12 UK 6-1.

So why exactly should t they be where they are? Plenty of ober teams have undefeated records with ugly near miss blemishes on their record.


I sometimes wonder if you really do pay attention to football or if you just read about it.

To me rankings mean very little before November. Some of the current positioning is kind of mind boggling. But my personal opinion about Notre Dame is that they should not be allowed into the Final 4 playoffs unless and until they join a conference. They should not be given special treatment by the committee just because of their "historic" reputation. Their schedule is decent, but not great, and they never have to go through a conference grind. They should be punished, not rewarded, for being so arrogant.

Doesnt make much sense. All I can gather is because they beat Miami and Auburn when they were ranked eventhough those 2 teams aren’t very good
 
AP's current ranking are the result of their innate stupidity when making their early rankings. They won't make proper adjustments because that would show them to have been clueless early on. >>> Media-Morons at their usual worst... :rolleyes:

Instead, they choose to remain looking clueless, which is why the CFP rankings quickly supplant them when they begin. :cool:

The rankings will all work out. To me Alabama & Clemson are head & shoulders above everybody else. Ohio State has the talent to be there, but their O-line and secondaries are not playing well. Notre Dame's schedule is not nearly as tough as it looked pre-season, but they'll get into the playoff undefeated and get rolled by either Clemson or Bama. The Michigan/Ohio State winner will get hyped in as well. LSU faces reality this week and may get taken by Texas A&M later.
 
Insta I’m just saying polls means nothing so why get upset about them? Computer rankings is what counts now in NCAA not polls. I know teams that should be in a top 25 in Florida high school but their not . Just play the game take care of business that’s what counts!!

They are what they are, 'biased media-moron opinions' that I throw sticks at, nothing more. o_O

The goals left for this season don't include poll rankings imo.
Get better each week and win out, including a decent bowl game.
I didn't think (back in Aug) that they could win more than 8-9 games with Franks at QB, but at least he did better than the 6-7 win results that I was afraid of with him at QB... :cool:

In his Monday presser, Dan said that he plays and rotates the non-starters to keep them engaged and working at practice, and interested in the games. I'm calling BS on that 'fake news' claim. :rolleyes:

And I've stopped even bothering to look at his 'Depth Charts.' :cool:
