Utah looked good the other night, Georgia is Georgia, U.T. is getting better as is Kentucky, LSU is always tough and now Jimbo has paid errr… recruited a class that is absolutely loaded even by Bama standards and not done yet so, it’s gonna be a tough 1st year for Coach Napier.

8-4 or 7-5?

Good thing FSU kept Norvell.

He is an average coach and awful recruiter. His best class is this year (year 3) at 14 with both UM and UF going through coaching changes. Can you imagine next year will Billy and Mario on the trail. Yikes

And any of you Holes are free to go back to our previous hires and will find my stance to be very anti-Norvell. Never liked the guy at the next level.

I personally haven’t been impressed with him. I mean he’s better than Taggart so I’ll give him that. However he may be in trouble with what UF and Miami now deciding to up their game. We will see.

With Billy, Raymond and possibly Scott plus Mario rumored to get either Champ or Schumann I am not sure how Norvell can compete i recruiting. Especially considering he couldn’t capitalize on Manny and Mullen.

Yes it will be interesting to see what the final UF and Miami coaching staffs look like but they are likely going to be better than FSUs. Unless FSU upgrades their staff in a hurry. Norvell seems a little overwhelmed.
