    He had a pinch hit at bat in the 9-2 loss to TCU. I'd imagine we didn't have him out there more because his plate discipline needs a ton of work. He's struck out 29 times (in 90 ab) and only walked 4 times on the season.

    Danny threw three INTs against Kentucky as a rFreshman. I agree there is a long, long ways to go, but even Wuerffel didn't start our smoothly here, though he did make a legendary play.

    Against most teams it would be a bad decision, sure, but against a team you know you're going to beat, a 4th and 6 situation is more valuable for a defense than a 3rd and 21. It's more about preparing the team for 4th down situations than making the "right" call in this game IMO.

    Very cool story. What an awesome guy and a Great Gator! Given the circumstances of his birth, him turning into the man he did is one of the more incredible success stories I've ever heard. And you have to love that he's decked out in Gator gear in the pictures and video for that story!

    Wayyy before my time but Rick Casares has to be one of the greatest Gators ever. A truly special talent from what I've read.
