UF will win. The Knights are devastated right now, but they are looking forward to UF as their “ get right “ game. We shall see, but I think UF wins in a close one.

What are your thoughts on the GM position? I personally think the GM position is just as important as the next head coach… I think Mark Pantoni should be that guy… Would it be possible to get him before the season ends to get things moving in the right direction ?

I didn’t see another post about him passing on the 28th. The man deserves a thread. For those over 60 he was a true Icon in writing, playing and singing his music, and he was an accomplished intellectual but never acting elite.

Rumors going around that he's trying to preserve his redshirt, which is why he didn't play last week.

Passed away from brain cancer at the young age of 58. Will definitely acknowledge him and give him his flowers for representing the NBA and it's tough, defensive nature in it's Golden years. Prayers and healing to his family and loved ones.

What are your expectations?

When the BCS left them out, because they were no longer one of the four best teams (after the Travis injury) that’s when whatever culture Norvell had built, crumbled to the ground. At the time, I told an FSU friend, that quitting, like the entire program did, was a terrible strategic move. My point was, Novell should have used it as a lesson in dealing with adversity. He should have told them that they were going to go play Georgia, and prove to the college football world, that they had made a huge mistake in keepiing them out of the playoff. Instead, Norvell and the program gave them permission to quit. What you are seeing is the result of that inexcusable mistake., and will be a multi year mistake, IMO.
