In the realm of rivalry, where passions ignite,
There's a tale of a soul, consumed by the fight.
Shime, a man haunted, his mind a maze,
By the Garnet and Gold, in a relentless daze.

In the shadows of memory, a phantom appears,
i8hf$u, an alter ego, stoking the fears.
A tumultuous dance, an internal strife,
Triggered by Seminoles, in his tumultuous life.

Childhood echoes, a stolen bike's ghost,
Or an imagined wound, a pain engrossed.
Noles, the tormentors, or so it seems,
In Shime's world, they're more than just dreams.

Obsession unfolds, a relentless pursuit,
Of triumph and glory, the eternal dispute.
Rent-free they reside, in the chambers of mind,
A rivalry fierce, of a peculiar kind.

But tales can deceive, perceptions distort,
In the realm of obsession, realities contort.
For in this theater of rivalry's stage,
The heart often scribbles an irrational page.

So let Shime wrestle, with demons untold,
In the saga of Noles, a tale to unfold.
For in the dance of rivalry, shadows play,
And sometimes, it's best to let them fade away.

The FSU fall started with the bowl game

When the BCS left them out, because they were no longer one of the four best teams (after the Travis injury) that’s when whatever culture Norvell had built, crumbled to the ground. At the time, I told an FSU friend, that quitting, like the entire program did, was a terrible strategic move. My point was, Novell should have used it as a lesson in dealing with adversity. He should have told them that they were going to go play Georgia, and prove to the college football world, that they had made a huge mistake in keepiing them out of the playoff. Instead, Norvell and the program gave them permission to quit. What you are seeing is the result of that inexcusable mistake., and will be a multi year mistake, IMO.
