Hats off to the offensive coaching staff; the first 15-play script against UGA last year was a masterpiece. However, things kind of fell apart afterward. With a better quarterback and an overall improved offense, I hope we can develop additional plays that will benefit us. Milroe, torched them; however, can’t hit the broad side of a barn with a scattergun.

We need to be prepared for blitzes, zone blitzes, and combo blitzes, utilizing screens and quick passes to hot receivers, all while playing a complementary defense. I believe we’ll be just fine in a few weeks.

Additionally, Beck is looking a bit suspect right now. I’m not overlooking their defense, but I’m not ready to crown them either.

The added motivation from Etienne's transfer to UGA, along with the trash-talking, should also ignite our fire and desire even more. I love fire and aggression we have with the last few weeks. I expect us to be fever-pitched and poised take the Dawgs down.

Well unless you count the 3-6 that who went in 2020? Mike Norvell. They will lose to Miami and Notre Dame, most likely us unless D.J. gets hurt but, we could probably start a 79 year SOS and still beat them, which leaves a toss up with UNC and Charleston Southern. 2-10 or 3-9 and nobody is calling for 65-70 MILLION Dollaes to get rid of Mike?

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gator standout Rex Grossman has been selected to the 2024 SEC Legends class, the Southeastern Conference announced on Tuesday.



The 2024 Football Legends class includes 16 former stars who excelled on the gridiron and helped write the rich history of the sport at their respective institutions, and is the first to include representatives from new members Oklahoma and Texas.



Grossman was considered one of the nation's premier quarterbacks in his three years at Florida from 2000-02, finishing second in the Heisman Trophy as a sophomore in 2001 and receiving the 2001 AP National Player of the Year Award. He started each of his last 30 regular season games, going 23-8 record as a starter.



The holder of 18 UF records, he completed 677 of 1,110 passes for 9,164 yards and 77 touchdowns in his career. Grossman had a school-record 17 career 300-plus yard passing games, and became the first Gator to throw for 300-plus yards in more than three consecutive games (first nine game of 2001) and he owns five of the top 16 single game passing yardage totals.



Grossman finished second in the 2001 Heisman Trophy balloting, only the fifth sophomore ever to finish in the top two, and he was a finalist for the Walter Camp Award, Maxwell Award, and O'Brien Award in 2001 while earning Associated Press National Player of the Year honors.



Grossman declared for the NFL Draft after his junior season and was drafted in the first round by the Chicago Bears with the 22nd overall choice in the 2003 NFL Draft. He played nine seasons in the NFL for Chicago, Houston and Washington, leading the Bears to an appearance in Super Bowl XLI.



The class will be honored at the 2024 SEC Football “Weekend of Champions” Dec. 6-7 in Atlanta, Ga, highlighted by the annual SEC Legends Celebration presented by T-Mobile on Friday, Dec. 6 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. The group will also be recognized prior to the SEC Football Championship Game, which will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Florida's 2025 Home Schedule:
Florida's home schedule opens the weekend of Jan. 10 with a quad meet featuring Michigan State, Nebraska and Northern Illinois. It is Club Gym Night as gymnastics clubs are invited to join the Gators for the season opener.

It's a rivalry match-up for the Gators next home meet on January 24. Plan to be at the Exactech Arena early to cheer Olympians, national champions and other Gator Gymnastics Greats back that weekend for Alumni Night.

Combine a sweet holiday with a fan favorite meet - Feb. 14 versus Auburn for the 19th Annual Gators Link to Pink. The dual versus Auburn is part of a SEC initiative to raise breast cancer awareness. Most of the league's teams participate in a "pink" meet each season.

February home action closes with Missouri on Feb. 28. It is Equality Night as the Gators celebrate all who make up the team, staff, University, collegiate gymnastics and Gainesville communities and fans.

Regular-season action closes with a Senior Night dual with 2024 SEC regular-season runner-up Kentucky. You'll want to be in the Exactech Arena March 14 to thank the Gators seniors.

I am not sure if there were any property taxes anywhere in the USoA at the founding but I am sure that property ownership was so sacred to the founders most would have opposed any property tax. Do you really own your property if you have to rent it from the government every year?

This year we are ranked 50th in offense and 76th in defense. In comparisons to last couple years and last year of Mullen

2022: 56th, 96th

2023: 57th, 69th

Just some perspective for everyone on where we stand nationally.

The year we fired Mullen, 2021, we were 49th on offense (preceeded by being 13th and 28th the previous 2 years) and 51st in defense.

Billy not hiring an OC was the beginning of the end. He has an opportunity to adapt the offense (not running on 3 and short against a 10 man box in the red zone) and give this kid a chance to save his sole. Best deep ball in the SEC.

More vertical with 4 wr sets.
Get the rb to run routes over the middle for checks.
Give Lagway a runway and attack the deep middle which nobody respects against us.
Our defense will be challenged with mutiple competition coming.

I'm looking for recommendations for offshore charters to take clients out maybe a half dozen times a year. My old go to went out of business so I need to find another outfit. Most of my clients are in Orlando and we used to go out of crystal river but open to charters out of Tampa, ft Myers, or on the east side all the way down to palm beach.
2 caveats, I won't do business with Hang em High, and since this is a client deal, I'm a real boat snob. Freeman, Sea Hunter, Yellowfin or similar caliber CC, or a nice sportfish, something impressive.
