Basketball UF MBK: Clayton Named to Naismith Trophy Watch List

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Florida senior guard Walter Clayton Jr. has earned a place on the Naismith Trophy Men's College Player of the Year Watch List, announced by the Atlanta Tipoff Club on Wednesday.

Clayton returns for his senior season after leading the Gators with 17.6 points per game last season. His 633 points scored in 2023-24 marked the fifth-highest in a single season in program history. He tallied second-team All-SEC honors last season and has already been named preseason first-team All-SEC by the media heading into this season.

The Lake Wales native posted 15 games with 20+ points last season and knocked down 93 3-point field goals, the No. 8 single-season total in UF history. Clayton added All-SEC Tournament Team honors, averaging 18.5 points game in helping UF back to the tournament title game for the first time in 10 years.

UF's season tips off on Nov. 4 in Jacksonville, where the Gators will face South Florida at 8:30 p.m. on SEC Network.

How The Supreme Court May Effect Election

This is interesting. The Supreme Court will likely take up both the Virginia non-citizen removal from the voter list and the Pennsylvania allowing mail in ballots past a certain date and render rulings before the election on these issues. Likely in favor of the conservatives.

Fla/Ga Tix and Parking Pass

Hey everyone,

I have (4) tickets ...would prefer to sell on here if possible (I'm listing tix on stubhub also right now but for a higher number than I would take from an ally on here!).

Tickets are Section 123, Row Q seat 13-16

I am traveling for work Mon-Wed so if I'll try to check in as much as I can but would be awesome if someone takes them tomorrow!

GO GATORS

EDIT - Parking pass is spoken for, just tickets for sale!

Gat In This Thread When You Vote 2024

Want to make sure I was registered today and they let me go ahead and vote. Will never ask anybody how they voted but would love to see who voted in 2024 and what is arguably the most important election in my lifetime.

Despite my sometimes slightly more left-leaning than my friends on here, being a conservative at heart, it was a no-brainer. Count one vote for Trump and Vance from me.
