    That the department of education's investigation is still going is not a coincidence. Kinnaman's lawyers are very likely going to give their case file to the DEA's investigators. Leaks are very real possibility.

    They're called "Discovery depositions" for a reason. The point of them is to learn things from the witness you don't know. They're not for the purpose of having a minitrial. If you use a deposition for that reason then you're being an incompetent lawyer.
